Football Game Preview: Belleview Rattlers vs. Buchholz Bobcats

The Belleview Rattlers will square off against the Buchholz Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Belleview will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Belleview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 26-6 margin over Lake Minneola. The result was nothing new for the Rattlers, who have now won nine matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Jakyra Bostick had a dynamite game, picking up 79 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the most receiving touchdowns she has posted since back in March. Hannah Mason was another key player, throwing for 165 yards and three TDs.

Belleview didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Bostick, Jazmyn Rivas, and Cammi Satterfield picked up one apiece.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 34 points the game before, Buchholz was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell 13-6 to Lake Minneola. The contest marked the Bobcats' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Belleview's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Buchholz, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.
