Marquette Catholic had lost three straight on the road, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 2-8 to make it four. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Delphi Community Oracles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Oracles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-6 on Saturday.

As for Delphi Community, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games.

For Delphi Community's part, Brett Huffman made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Huffman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances.
