Crosspointe Christian Academy had won 13 straight games and Allie Schellenberg did her part to make it 14 on Monday. The Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers skirted past the Tabernacle Christian Eagles 47-44 thanks in part to Schellenberg, who went 6 for 14 to rack up 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games she's played.

Emma Baldwin was another key player, putting up nine points. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Tabernacle Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Liz Southerland, who posted 22 points. That was a full 50% of Tabernacle Christian's points, marking the tenth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lacy Southerland, who scored 13 points.

Crosspointe Christian Academy pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.6 points over those games. As for Tabernacle Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
