Volleyball Recap: Chaffey Takes a Loss

Chaffey was the 3-0 winner over Ontario when they last played one another on April 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers fell 3-1 to the Jaguars on Friday. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Jaguars 25-16 in the first set.

Chaffey started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-22, 25-17, 25-19.

This is the second loss in a row for Chaffey and nudges their season record down to 10-9. As for Ontario, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 7-13.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Chaffey will take on rival Don Lugo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ontario is set to face off against their familiar foe Chino at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
