Soccer Recap: Riverdale Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Riverdale and Gulf Coast squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Riverdale had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Gulf Coast Sharks by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty eight goals in the game before, the Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 7-9-2. As for Gulf Coast, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-14-1.

As of now, neither Riverdale nor Gulf Coast have any future games scheduled.
