Football Recap: Lithia Springs Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lithia Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 65-0 loss at the hands of the Rome Wolves. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 70-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Lithia Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Rome, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Lithia Springs will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Alexander at 7:30 p.m. on the 24th. The Lions will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.38 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Rome, they will be playing at home against South Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
