Softball Recap: Rosamond Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rosamond can now relate to. They lost 9-2 to the Orcutt Academy Spartans on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Roadrunners couldn't push the score so high this time.

Rosamond saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jocelyn Lopez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Rosamond's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Orcutt Academy, they now have a winning record of 12-11-1.

Rosamond does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orcutt Academy, they will challenge California City at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Ravens have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
