On Monday, Cross Lanes Christian had just enough and edged out Poca 2-1.

The victory continues a trend for Grace Christian in their matchups with Lincoln County: they've now won eight in a row.

Grace Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-7-1. As for Cross Lanes Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.

Cross Lanes Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Grace Christian in their previous meeting on September 11th, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
