Basketball Recap: Bradford Takes a Loss

After flying high against Ridgway last Monday, Bradford came back down to earth. The Bradford Owls took a 54-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Marys Flying Dutch on Wednesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-38 on January 3rd.

Bradford has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for St. Marys, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Bradford will head out to challenge Punxsutawney at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bradford is facing Punxsutawney at the right time seeing as Punxsutawney is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for St. Marys, they will be playing at home against DuBois at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
