Football Recap: Fallbrook Warriors vs. San Pasqual Golden Eagles
Friday just wasn't the day for Fallbrook's offense. They were outmatched by the San Pasqual Golden Eagles and fell 60-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Golden Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
Harrison Jones threw for 142 yards on 18 of 34 attempts. Jaxson Day was his top target, picking up 43 receiving yards. On the ground, Grant Hall rushed for 85 yards.
San Pasqual got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Robert Renteria out in front who threw for 187 yards and two TDs while completing 75% of his passes. Dylan Bachoua helped Renteria out on the ground, rushing for 38 yards and one score, while also picking up 78 receiving yards.
Fallbrook's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for San Pasqual, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
