Mesa Vista hasn't had much luck against Santa Rosa recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mesa Vista Trojans will challenge the Santa Rosa Lions at 11:30 a.m. Mesa Vista is coming into the game hot, having won their last 15 games.

Mesa Vista is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Legacy Academy as Mesa Vista made off with a 58-32 win. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Santa Rosa posted their closest victory since January 30th on Wednesday. They skirted past Rehoboth Christian 44-41. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lions.

Mesa Vista's win bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Santa Rosa, their victory bumped their record up to 26-5.

Mesa Vista might still be hurting after the 73-48 defeat they got from Santa Rosa when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Mesa Vista avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
