Softball Recap: Denfeld Drops Season-High Score on Cloquet

Denfeld was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 10-6 to the Cloquet Lumberjacks. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Hunters' highest-scoring match to date.

Coco Flaig was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Ellie Davis was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Denfeld's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Cloquet, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Denfeld will host Proctor at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cloquet, they will welcome Virginia at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
