Columbia came out on top against Jersey on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Eagles took their matchup against the Panthers 7-4. That's two games straight that the Eagles have won by exactly three runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Columbia and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Jersey, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
