Softball Recap: Michigan City Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Michigan City had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the South Bend Adams Eagles, falling 15-3. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Ann Sawyer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Michigan City will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hobart at 4:30 p.m. on April 7. As for South Bend Adams, they will face off against Westview at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
