Baseball Recap: Jefferson County Comes Up Short

Jefferson County and Science Hill squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Jefferson County had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hilltoppers by a score of 2-0. The Patriots have struggled against the Hilltoppers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Jefferson County now has a losing record of 17-18. As for Science Hill, they have been performing well recently as they've won 17 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 30-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Jefferson County nor Science Hill have any future games scheduled.
