Baseball Game Preview: Tyler Knights vs. Camden Blue Devils

The Tyler Knights will challenge the Camden Blue Devils at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Tyler is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Tyler came up short against Williamstown and fell 6-3.

Reese Davis was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two RBI. He has become a key player for Tyler: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least one home run, but 2-6 otherwise. Brayden Neff was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Camden took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Central Square.

Conner Yerdon made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Yerdon was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one run.

Yerdon wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Bryce Rocker, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Dylan Bush, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Tyler's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Camden, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
