Morgan Staszak and Quinn Hervey stepped up to the plate in a big way. Staszak went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double, while Hervey went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
As for Winneconne, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since April 29, 2025.
On Winneconne's side, Julia Youngbauer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits. Youngbauer has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.
