Soccer Game Preview: Einstein vs. Paint Branch + How To Watch

The Einstein Titans will challenge the Paint Branch Panthers at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Einstein's last five contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Paint Branch will have to contend with a Einstein team hungry for a win, something the squad hasn't seen since September 24. Einstein fell just short of Bethesda-Chevy Chase by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Einstein have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Paint Branch's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Churchill on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Paint Branch can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Churchill are ranked first).

Paint Branch now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Einstein, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.

Einstein came out on top in a nail-biter against Paint Branch when the teams last played back in September of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
