Baseball Game Preview: Hudson's Bay Eagles vs. R.A. Long Lumberjacks

For the second straight game, Hudson's Bay will face off against R.A. Long. The Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lumberjacks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.

Hudson's Bay made up a huge gap compared to their last game against R.A. Long, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles fell just short of the Lumberjacks by a score of 9-7 on Friday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Lumberjacks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cam Nicklas and Tanner Koford did some serious damage despite the final result: Nicklas got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs, while Koford got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

R.A. Long's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Hudson's Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
