Volleyball Recap: Shelby County Has No Trouble Against Tarrant + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Shelby County blew past Tarrant 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-19, 25-15.

Janie Mooney was nothing short of spectacular: she had nine digs and nine aces. Those nine digs gave her a new career-high.

Mooney wasn't the only good servers: Shelby County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Shelby County moved to 11-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Tarrant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Shelby County will head out to challenge Billingsley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tarrant, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dora at 6:00 p.m.
