Thrival Indy Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Thrival Indy Academy pushed their score all the way to 59 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a hard 74-59 fall against Irvington Preparatory Academy.
Meanwhile, GEO Next Generation slipped by the 1-0 on Thursday. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points GEO Next Generation has scored all year.
Thrival Indy Academy dropped their record down to 1-7 with that loss, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for GEO Next Generation, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.
Thrival Indy Academy came up short against the Eagles in their previous meeting back in December of 2021, falling 78-71. Can Thrival Indy Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
