Basketball Recap: Rolesville Comes Up Short

Rolesville was the 76-60 winner over Heritage when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Rolesville Rams took a 60-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heritage Huskies on Tuesday. The Rams' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Despite the loss, Rolesville saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Anthony Roberts, Jr went 6-for-12 en route to 13 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Brody Watkins, who posted seven points.

Even though they lost, Rolesville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.
