Softball Game Preview: Shenandoah Mustangs vs. Clarinda Cardinals

The Shenandoah Mustangs will face off against the Clarinda Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Shenandoah came up short against Kuemper and fell 7-2. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Clarinda gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against Woodbine by a score of 6-1.

Shenandoah suffered a grim 13-1 defeat to Clarinda in their previous matchup back in June of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
