Softball Recap: Maple Mountain Wins Going Away Against Hurricane

Maple Mountain's tournament run continued when they took on Hurricane on Friday. The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles were the clear victor by a 16-10 margin over the Hurricane Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Eagles.

The team relied heavily on Daphnee Pagano, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brinley Cherrington, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Maple Mountain now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Hurricane, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Maple Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-5 win against Fremont on the 7th. As for Hurricane, they have also already played their next match, an 11-7 victory against Herriman on the 7th.
