Basketball Recap: North Putnam Takes a Loss

North Putnam lost against Northview back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Putnam Cougars were beaten by the Northview Knights 59-24. The Cougars' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

North Putnam's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Northview, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Putnam will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on North Montgomery at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Northview will take on Cloverdale in a holiday battle at at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
