Tate Gilmore posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out four batters over two innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

Gilmore's strong effort led Maple Mountain over Timpview and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
