Volleyball Recap: Nekoosa Papermakers vs. Waterloo Pirates
Nekoosa's tournament run continued when they took on Waterloo on Saturday. The Papermakers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The Papermakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ariana Rosplock paced Nekoosa's offense, picking up three kills. Rosplock got some help from Aubrey Boerboom and her seven assists. Boerboom and Rosplock didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.
Waterloo was led to victory by Madi McCarthy and Brynlee Lauersdorf. McCarthy had six digs and two aces, while Lauersdorf had four digs and three assists.
