Steelton-Highspire is 0-10 against East Pennsboro since April of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Steamrollers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 4:15 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Steelton-Highspire will bounce into Wednesday's contest after beating Milton Hershey, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Steamrollers blew past the Spartans 11-1 on Monday. Considering the Steamrollers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Jayce Jones spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up six Ks.
