Gilbert Christian put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Winslow Bulldogs 48-0. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona football rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 209th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gilbert Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Ely, who rushed for 101 yards on only six carries, and also threw for 79 yards and three touchdowns. Ely is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another back making a difference was Camden Gorsline, who rushed for 167 yards and one score while picking up 8.4 yards per carry.

Gilbert Christian's run defense was locked in: Winslow could only muster 3.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Hyatt Lang for the heroic effort on defense: he. Gilbert Christian didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 12.1.
