Soccer Recap: Northampton Gets the Win + How To Watch

Northampton won the last time they faced Pittsfield and things went their way on Monday too. The Blue Devils beat the Generals by a goal, winning 3-2. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Northampton's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Pittsfield are ranked 219th).

Northampton's victory bumped their record up to 8-0-1. As for Pittsfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7-1.

Looking ahead, Northampton will head out on the road to take on Amherst-Pelham Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pittsfield, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Minnechaug Regional at 4:30 p.m.
