Briggs and St. Charles squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Briggs had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. The Bruins' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Briggs' defeat dropped their record down to 14-10. As for St. Charles, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Briggs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Charles, they will take on St. Francis DeSales at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Stallions will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
