Volleyball Recap: Whitewater Whippets vs. Randolph Rockets
Whitewater lost against Randolph back in August of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Whippets fell 2-0 to the Rockets.
Kaia Jones paced Whitewater's offense, picking up three kills. Jones got some help from Mya Graves-Koran and her seven assists. Jasmine Kilar controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Randolph found their leader in sophomore Annika Reed, who had 15 digs and one assist.
Whitewater's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Randolph, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-12 record this season.
Whitewater didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Deerfield on the 20th. As for Randolph, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Cambria-Friesland on the 20th.
