Preview: Euclid Panthers vs. Lutheran West Longhorns
The Euclid Panthers are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the Lutheran West Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on February 13th. Euclid has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 359 points over their last five games.
Even though Benedictine scored an imposing 61 points on Saturday, Euclid still came out on top. Euclid was the clear victor by a 82-61 margin over Benedictine.
It was another big night for Thai Duncan, who scored 40 points. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Anthony Moore, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Lutheran West waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lima Senior 77-49 at home. Lutheran West has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 21 points or more this season.
Euclid's victory bumped their record up to 5-15. As for Lutheran West, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2.
