Volleyball Game Preview: Newfound Regional Bears vs. Sunapee Lakers

The Newfound Regional Bears are taking a road trip to challenge the Sunapee Lakers at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Sunapee took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Newfound Regional, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Newfound Regional turned things around against Mascoma on Monday. They blew past the Royals 3-0.

Meanwhile, Sunapee came up short against Mascenic Regional on Monday and fell 3-1. The Lakers have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Sunapee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Newfound Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6.

Everything went Newfound Regional's way against Sunapee when the teams last played back in September, as Newfound Regional made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
