Basketball Recap: Columbus North Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Columbus North extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Caleb Ferguson. The Columbus North Bull Dogs rang in the new year with a 57-47 victory over the Terre Haute South Vigo Braves on Saturday thanks in part to Ferguson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in boards.

The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Perry, who posted eight points along with five assists and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.

Columbus North has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Columbus North will head out to square off against Terre Haute North Vigo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Columbus North is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.7 points per game this season. As for Terre Haute South Vigo, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Indianapolis Lutheran at 1:30 p.m.
