Softball Recap: New Trier Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for New Trier's offense. They came up short against the Loyola Academy Ramblers on Saturday, falling 14-0. The Trevians haven't had much luck with the Ramblers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

New Trier's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Loyola Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-15.

Looking ahead, New Trier will be playing at home against Amundsen at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Loyola Academy, they will face off against Antioch at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
