Harlan is 6-0 against Sotomayor since September of 2022, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 5:30 p.m. Harlan will be looking to keep their 20-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.

Last Tuesday, everything went Harlan's way against Taft as Harlan made off with a 3-0 win.

Harlan walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Sotomayor unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Warren. The WILDCATS haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Sotomayor started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-11, 25-13, 25-23.

Despite their loss, Sotomayor saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Reylen Juarez, who had 16 digs, was perhaps the best of all. Juarez has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Castillo, who had 18 digs, a kill, and 22 assists.

Harlan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games, which provided a nice bump to their 34-5 record this season. As for Sotomayor, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-15.
