Horicon proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 15) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves 8-7. Winning may never get old, but the Marshmen sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

The team relied heavily on Max LaBlanc, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI. Brady Anderson was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Horicon's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Living Word Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Coincidentally, Horicon and Living Word Lutheran will both be playing St. Mary's Springs the next time they take the field. The Marshmen will host the Ledgers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Timberwolves will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
