Baseball Game Preview: GRACE Christian Eagles vs. St. David's Warriors

For the second straight game, GRACE Christian will face off against St. David. The Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Warriors at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. GRACE Christian comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

GRACE Christian lost 7-1 to St. David's on Tuesday.

For St. David's part, Grey McMahon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits. McMahon also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because the Warriors are 3-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 1-2 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Thomas Vinson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Malachi Sheats also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

GRACE Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for St. David's, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
