Recap: Washington Union Panthers vs. Central Grizzlies

Washington Union has struggled against Central recently, as their contest on Saturday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Washington Union lost, one person who can't be blamed is Reginald "Kado" Felder. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Tayven Holland, who scored 17 points.

Central was led to victory by Myron Pondexter-Johnson and Ej Jefferson. Pondexter-Johnson scored 23 points along with five rebounds and two steals, while Jefferson scored 23 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jefferson has scored all season. Kenneth White jr was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Washington Union has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Central, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington Union will take on Reedley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central, they will be playing at home against Clovis North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Clovis North knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 18 matchups -- so hopefully Central likes a good challenge.
