Basketball Recap: Union Star Takes a Loss

Union Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 70-20 to the West Nodaway Rockets, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Trojans were looking for revenge after losing 58-14 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Union Star's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for West Nodaway, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Union Star will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rock Port at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. West Nodaway and South Holt will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
