Glendora can attribute much of their success to Kamy King, who had 21 digs, and Amelia Arzaga, who had 19 assists and four digs. Those 21 digs gave King a new career-high.
Glendora was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Diamond Bar got the win against Bonita on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-13.
Diamond Bar's win came from a few key players Glendora will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ava Furumoto, who had ten digs and four assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.
Diamond Bar's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Glendora, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.
Everything went Glendora's way against Diamond Bar when the teams last played back in September, as Glendora made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Tartans repeat their success, or do the Brahmas have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
