Volleyball Recap: Palm Beach Central Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Palm Beach Central can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Wellington Wolverines on Thursday. The Broncos haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Palm Beach Central started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-22, 25-10, 25-16.

Palm Beach Central's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Wellington, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Palm Beach Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wellington, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Cypress Bay on the 22nd.
