Recap: Knob Noster Panthers vs. Clinton Cardinals
The Knob Noster Panthers lost against the Clinton Cardinals back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Knob Noster was beaten by Clinton 67-34. Knob Noster has struggled against Clinton recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Knob Noster's loss came despite strong showings from Kaitlyn Stewart and Ella Goodrich. Stewart scored 8 points, while Goodrich scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds. The match was Goodrich's third in a row with at least ten points.
Knob Noster now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Clinton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Knob Noster will take on Weaubleau at TBD on Friday. As for Clinton, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Skyline. Skyline presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Clinton in Missouri (Skyline is ranked eighth, while Clinton is ranked 87th).
