They took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the AZ Compass Prep Dragons on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Heroes of the 30-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October.

Several Heroes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sammy Larson, who rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. Those 141 rushing yards gave Larson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tyler Lines, who rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns.
