Basketball Game Preview: Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays vs. Platteview Trojans

The Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays are taking a road trip to take on the Platteview Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Ashland-Greenwood is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Ralston: they outscored them in every quarter. Ashland-Greenwood blew past Ralston 49-23 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bluejays as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Platteview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. Everything went their way against Beatrice on Tuesday as Platteview made off with a 66-44 win. The Trojans pushed the score to 55-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Orangemen cut but never quite recovered from.

Ashland-Greenwood's record now sits at 11-4. As for Platteview, their record now sits at 12-5.

Ashland-Greenwood and Platteview were neck-and-neck when the teams last played two weeks ago, but Ashland-Greenwood came up empty-handed after a 58-57 loss. Can Ashland-Greenwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
