Baseball Recap: Clinton Triumphs

Clinton won the last time they faced Riverton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Maroons came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 5-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Maroons.

Clinton's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jaeden Bell, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

The victory got Clinton back to even at 7-7. As for Riverton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Coming up, Clinton will face off against Rantoul at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Riverton, they will be playing at home against Mt. Pulaski at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
