Volleyball Game Preview: Murrieta Mesa Rams vs. Chaparral Pumas + Official Tickets

Murrieta Mesa is 2-8 against Chaparral since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pumas at 6:30 p.m. Chaparral took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Murrieta Mesa, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, Murrieta Mesa earned a 3-1 win over Great Oak. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rams.

Murrieta Mesa was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 22-25, 25-15, 25-16.

Livie Corelli and Analei Bradley were among the main playmakers for Murrieta Mesa as the former had 13 digs and five assists and the latter had 17 digs and four aces. Bradley has been hot for a while, having also posted 21 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Murrieta Mesa was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matches.

Meanwhile, Chaparral came up short against Vista Murrieta on Thursday and fell 3-1.

While Chaparral ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 24-26, 25-21, 25-19.

Murrieta Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 29-6-2. As for Chaparral, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-15.
