Baseball Recap: Lamar Comes Up Short

Lamar was the 4-1 winner over Seneca when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Indians on Thursday, falling 10-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Seneca, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 16-7.

Coming up, Lamar will look to defend their home field on Monday against Warsaw at 6:30 p.m. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. Seneca has already played their next game (against Neosho), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
