Softball Recap: Oakridge Takes a Loss

Oakridge and Gaylord squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Oakridge had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blue Devils by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was back in May, the team can't take the result too hard.

This is the second loss in a row for Oakridge and nudges their season record down to 17-8. As for Gaylord, they moved to 22-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Oakridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gaylord, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-0 loss against Escanaba on the 7th.
